Development International |
Development International (DI) facilitates community empowerment by promoting a diversity of development stakeholder involvement and coordination for enhancing environmental resilience, cultural enrichment, economic vitality, and social justice. DI does this by facilitating multilateral development initiatives based on collaboration among government agencies—the stewards of public interests; academia—the seat of research and capacity development; the commercial sector—the engine of economic vitality; and civil society—the voice and conscience of the public, in order to improve the quality of life globally. DI was founded to bring together a broad diversity of human resources to create networks and alliances of development practitioners dedicated to promoting ultimate stakeholder empowerment for assuming control of development policy articulation, initiative planning and project implementation control.
